Jason Carroll is a professor of molecular oncology at the University of Cambridge, a senior group leader at Cancer Research UK and a fellow at Clare College. His lab is interested in understanding mechanisms of hormone-dependent cancer. They study how the estrogen receptor (ER) causes gene transcription and how this contributes to breast cancer progression. His lab is also interested in understanding how breast cancer therapies work and what happens if they fail.
