The Invention
A UW-Madison researcher has established a cell line, called VACO6, from a discarded tissue specimen of a surgically resected primary human colon cancer. The detailed characteristics of the clinical donor and the VACO6 cell line are described in Dr. Willson’s 1984 paper.
