NOVEL CELL LINES SUPPORTIVE OF ROBUST LACTATE DEHYDROGENASE VIRUS (LDV) INFECTION
WARF: P230385US01
Inventors: Adam Bailey, Teressa Shaw, Cody Warren
The Invention
A UW-Madison researcher has created a cell line capable of growing LDV virus in vitro. The inventor explains that he made an educated guess as to what the receptor for this virus might (CD163) be and introduced this gene into murine cells; immunologists may be interested in using this system to study LDV.
