SELECTION SYSTEMS, PEPTIDES DETERMINED THEREWITH, AND METHODS OF USING SAME
WARF: P230455US02
Inventors: Tina Wang, Linwei Yang
The Invention
UW-Madison inventors have developed a new PACE-based platform for rapid discovery of bioactive cyclic peptide protein aggregation inhibitors. By linking cyclic peptide activity to phage reproduction, researchers can perform 1-2 rounds of selection per day, leading to rapid enrichment of active sequences using standard molecular biology resources. The inventors have also developed a negative selection step, allowing straightforward removal of false positives or promiscuous hits.
