The Invention
UW-Madison researchers have a Clostridium botulinum strain 62A that is a sporulating C. botulinum strain producing high levels of BoNT/A1. A bacterial stock was prepared from a single colony and sequenced by whole genome sequencing. The sequence was deposited in Genbank, NCBI Reference Sequence: NZ_JAMXWB000000000.1
