WARF: P240365US01

Inventors: Cody Wenthur, Jillian Kyzer, Natalie Gonzalez Velazquez, Uriel Enriquez

The Invention

UW-Madison researchers have developed monoclonal antibodies to ketamine and monoclonal antibodies to 6-HNK, one of the major metabolites of ketamine. The antibodies are selective enough to bind to the target molecule in the presence of the other. These antibodies could be used as a diagnostic tool in hospitals or by law enforcement. They may be able to be developed into a treatment for ketamine overdose.
